FREEDOM
(Galatians 5:1, John 8:36)

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be
Burdened again by a yoke of slavery

If the son sets you free, you are free indeed

TO YOU OH LORD
(Psalm 25:1-3)

To you O Lord, I lift up my soul
In you I trust, O my God
Do not let me be put to shame
Let not my enemies triumph over me
For all whose hope is in you
Will never be put to shame

TWO SHIRTS
(Luke 3:11, Mark 9:35, Matthew 6:19-21)

Anyone who has two shirts
Should share with the one who has none,

Anyone who has food should do the same
Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last,
And the servant of all

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth,
Where moths and rust destroy,
Where thieves break in and steal
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be (also)

DEUTERONOMY 6:5

(Deuteronomy 6:5)
You shall love the Lord your God
Will all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might

REJOICE

(Philippians 4:4-8)
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again, Rejoice!
Let your gentleness be evident to all - The Lord is near
Do not be anxious about anything,
But by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving
Present your requests to God
And the peace of God, which passes all understanding
Will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
Finally, brothers and sisters
Whatever is true, whatever is noble
Whatever is right, whatever is pure
Whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable
If anything is excellent or praiseworthy
Think about such things

TRUST IN THE LORD
(Proverbs 3:5-6)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And lean not on your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge him
And he will direct your path

*Sing with me from the book of wisdom
Proverbs Chapter 3
Sing/clap together and remember
Come and sing/clap with me*

BE DRESSED

(Luke 12:35-36)
Be dressed, ready for service and keep your lamps burning,
Like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet,
So that when he comes and knocks
They can immediately open the door for him.
It will be good for those servants
Whose master finds them watching when he comes.

Truly I tell you,
He will dress himself to serve,
He will have them recline at the table
And will come and wait on them.

ALIEN

(Deuteronomy 14:21)
Do not eat anything you find already dead
But you may give it to the alien living in your town

LOVE ONE ANOTHER

(John 13:34-35)
A new command I give you: Love one another
As I have loved you, you must love one another
By this all men will know that you are my disciples
If you love one another

ROMANS 8:1-2

(Romans 8:1-2)
Therefore, there is now no condemnation
For those who are in Christ,
Because through Christ the law of the Spirit
Who gives life has set you free
From the law of sin and death. (Praise God!)

FOR US
(1 John 3:16)
This is how we know what love is
Jesus Christ laid down his life for us
And we ought to lay our lives down
For our brothers and sisters

WHAT IS THE BOOK
(Psalm 139:1-18,23-2)
You have searched me, Lord,
    and you know me.
 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue
    you, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,"
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand-
when I awake, I am still with you.

Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

YOU ARE THE CHRIST

(Mark 8:27-29, 31-35)
Jesus and his disciples went on
To the villages around Caesarea.
Along the way he asked them,
"Who do people say I am?"
They said, "Some say John the Baptist;
Some say Elijah; others say a prophet."
"What about you?" he asked them. "Who do you say I am?"
Peter answered Jesus, "You are the Christ."

Jesus told his disciples
"Don't breathe a word of this to anyone."
He then began explaining things to them
He said "The Son of Man must suffer many things,
be rejected by the elders, priests and the teachers,
He must be killed and after three days rise again.
Peter rebuked Jesus

Jesus turned to Peter. He said "Get behind me, Satan!"
"You do not have in mind the things of God,
But the things of men."

Then he called the crowd to him
along with his disciples and said: "Whoever
wants to be my disciple must deny themselves
and take up their cross and follow me.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it,
but whoever loses their life for me
and for the gospel will save it.

HE WILL REJOICE
(Zephaniah 3:17)
The Lord God is in your midst, The mighty one who saves
He will rejoice over you with gladness
He will quiet you with his love
He will rejoice over you with singing

LOVE
(1 Corinthians 13:1-2, 4-8)
If I speak with the tongues of men or of angels,
But have not love,
I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy
And can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge,
And if I have a faith that can move mountains,
but have not love, I am nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
Always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

THE LORD’S PRAYER

Matthew 6:9-13
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name
Your kingdom come, Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven

Give us today our daily bread

And forgive our debts

As we also have forgiven our debtors

And lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from evil

For yours is the kingdom and the power

And the glory forever, amen
